Provincial Achievement Tests
CSS students consistently perform at levels that exceed provincial standards of acceptable achievement
on the Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) for Grade 6 and Grade 9. Our students' performance on the
PATs is reflective of the strong focus that teachers and students place on using inquiry as an effective
mode of teaching and learning. While the PAT results are impressive, our teachers and students
maintain a consistent focus on deeper learning and knowledge construction that are not always
effectively measured by standardized tests.
