Science Fair
We host the CSS Science Fair in February in preparation for some of our students attending the
Calgary Youth Science Fair in March. Most of the work students do for their projects must be
completed at home, although our teachers will offer guidance and subject matter expertise.
Students are offered four broad categories in which to enter projects: experimental, non-experimental,
engineering and computing. For each project, our students are required to maintain a project diary
and a log book to track progress and information gathered. Our judges are community professionals
and parents who volunteer their time and knowledge to give our students a real world appraisal of
their work.
